Hey there. I'm just another person lurking around Tumblr, reblogging stuff... Don't mind me.
Sherlock, Doctor Who, Inception, Marvel, Hitchhiker's Guide, Cabin Pressure, Good Omens, Homestuck, Hetalia.
There is no guarantee that I will be spoiler free. Sorry!
I am most definitely Sher-locked.

The more I realize that I actually hate the idea of Watson being female and not an army doctor. I’ve been spending time reading the actual stories, and it just seems wrong not to have Watson be the BAMF war hero that he is.
Not only that, Sherlock is asexual, so having a female for him to fall in love with is just bleh. I don’t even ship Johnlock (hates gonna hate, but I just don’t), so them trying to ship Sherlock with a female Watson is even worse, since Watson is supposed to be male and there goes all the homoerotic jokes we all love.
And what they’re doing now doesn’t even seem to be the Sherlock Holmes story lines anymore. What’s the point of an adaption if you’re not going to do your best to put as many canonical things in there as possible? It’s like taking the idea of vampires, which originated with the typical Dracula-type we all recognize, and turning it into Twilight.
So yeah, Elementary, since you’re going to go about remaking the stories and not even making them very close to the originals, why don’t you just go and, I don’t know, rename Sherlock as well? Because all it’s going to be is another crime drama, like NCIS or CSI.
EDIT: Oh, on another note, moving Sherlock to New York? I’m still hung up on that. Seriously? Taking Sherlock from Baker Street is like ripping the heart out of Sherlock Holmes.
